It is finally Founder’s Day, and the vampires from the tomb are intent on slaughtering the founding families of Mystic Falls. It is up to Elena, Stefan, Damon, and Alaric to prevent the massacre, but things go wrong and people end up getting hurt. Also, someone long-awaited returns to Mystic Falls.
